Back from First Trip to the Lake House!

We reluctantly returned from our new house late last night. We definitely did not want to leave, but feel like we accomplished a lot while we were there. Here are some pictures of the house/property!

And here is a little preview of the inside of the house. We are obviously a far way from being done but it's a start!

My B-Day Dinner at Jamie and Mike's

On Sunday night, the NYC fam got together at Jamie and Mike's apartment for a big birthday feast for me. Such a wonderful night! We were able to see the gorgeous views from their rooftop, eat delicious food and watch Jamie's growing belly. Thank you Jamie and Mike!

The BIG Day - We closed!!!

Today we finally, officially closed on our lake house!! I say "we," however, I really mean "my husband" as he basically did everything and sorted through all the paperwork. He is a STUD. I mean, I scanned a few docs and poured him a few glasses of wine throughout the process. I would like to think those actions were pivotal in successfully bringing us to this day but... He really did everything.

We have LOTS of plans to change this house and make it ours, so expect it to look very different as we gradually make our way through the home!
